Talent wins students scholarship money at Rose Review

Thirteen students competed with music, magic and acting for cash prizes at the Rose Review on March 5, where the 2015 Mr. and Ms. Raider Spirit were announced.

Mina Chong won the first place prize of $500 with a jazz dance routine. She was also voted as fan favorite, earning an additional $100. Daniel Moore placed second after reciting a piece by William Shakespeare and received $300. Glenn Elmore placed third with an original arrangement of music from the Pirates of the Caribbean and received $200.

The 2015 Mr. Raider Spirit is Cody Graham and Ms. Raider Spirit is Lacee Woodrum.

The Review was judged by RSC faculty and staff Kent Lashley, vice president of Administrative Services, Emily Fisher, former RSC employee, and Mechelle Aitson-Roessler, director of Admissions and Records.
