The Phi Theta Kappa international honor society and Rose State College Graduation Services collaborated on March 9-10 for the first ever Complete College fair.

The event featured admissions representatives from colleges all across Oklahoma, including the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State University, Southwestern Oklahoma State University, the University of Central Oklahoma and more.

Students planning to transfer or graduate this May spoke with the college representatives about programs, requirements, accommodations and more.

Various RSC divisions also hosted tables at the fair, including advisement, the Learning Resources Center, Tutoring, Math Lab, Testing, Financial Aid, Job Placement and Veteran Affairs.

Frances Grant, academic advisement assistant, PTK Historian and student at RSC, joined in on planning and organizing the event with PTK and Graduation Services. “It’s for a college project,” Grant said.

“This event is being submitted for an award for Phi Theta Kappa regional convention and internationals,” said Elizabeth Tabak, PTK vice president.

Students could look at their degree audits and transcripts, speak with advisers and check their graduation status. The separate graduation fairs will be held from 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. March 11-12 and April 1-2 in the bookstore in the Student Center, where graduating students can get measured for their caps and gowns, free from Pepsi Co. Announcements and class rings can be ordered from Jostens.

For more information or help with graduation, visit Graduation Services in Student Services, Room 106 or call 733-7332.
